The tinted color helps protect against the Sun’s UV rays as well as providing just enough color to help thaw out those frozen bags. "Clear Bags are primarily used in areas were they are getting lots of sun and may heat up too fast with the blue bag. “Clear are also less noticeable when hanging on a tree, for those with aesthetics in mind. The laminated bag provides an extra 1/2 laminated edge on three sides of the bag. It gives the bag more strength on the seam, but these bags are all made out of 5 mil plastic and must be used with a sap sack holder."
